With the first reporting period nearing completion, ATENA+ partners came together online to align on next steps, share progress, and prepare the project for its next phase.
The ATENA+ consortium met online on 27 May 2026 for its third General Assembly, bringing together partners from across Europe to reflect on the project’s progress, share updates, and coordinate the next steps ahead of a key moment for the initiative.
As ATENA+ approaches the end of its first reporting period, the meeting provided an important opportunity to assess the work carried out so far across the different work packages and align on the activities and tasks planned for the months ahead. Partners presented the latest developments from their respective areas of work, contributing to a constructive and highly collaborative discussion marked by open exchange, shared expertise, and continuous dialogue across the consortium.
The conclusion of this first phase marks a key turning point for the project’s communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities. The strategy will be refreshed to better reflect and showcase the latest technical advancements achieved so far. As ATENA+ enters a more mature stage, the consortium will place an even stronger focus on actively engaging partners in communication efforts, leveraging their scientific and technical expertise to bring the project’s results to life and make them more accessible to a wider audience. This approach will not only amplify the project’s visibility, but also highlight the knowledge generated, unlocking its full potential and impact.
The meeting concluded with a shared overview of upcoming priorities and objectives, as ATENA+ continues advancing sustainable and affordable sodium-ion battery technologies in Europe.
