The ATENA+ consortium met in San Sebastián (Spain) for its second General Assembly, bringing together partners from across Europe to review progress, exchange ideas, and align on next steps.
The ATENA+ consortium met in San Sebastián, in the Basque Country, on 28–29 January for its second General Assembly, hosted by CIDETEC Energy Storage at its new facilities.
Over the two-day meeting, partners from across Europe shared updates on the work carried out in recent months, presenting key developments and achievements. The discussions provided an opportunity to take stock of the project’s progress, exchange views, and agree on priorities for the next phase.
In addition to the technical updates, the General Assembly featured two highly collaborative workshops. On the first day, ICONS led a session focused on Exploitation and IPR strategy fundamentals. On the second day, a workshop jointly conducted by LCE and SAFT addressed eco-design approaches within the ATENA+ project, fostering an open exchange on sustainability-driven design strategies.
The meeting concluded with a shared discussion on the next steps for the coming months, including the definition of key milestones and upcoming consortium meetings, both online and in person. Further in-person exchanges are planned for later in the year, as the project moves into a more advanced phase.
As part of the programme, CIDETEC also guided partners on a tour of its new headquarters, showcasing its latest infrastructure and innovations in energy storage research.
