The third ATENA+ newsletter brings two new project videos, the cell prototype presented at SBS-7 in Berlin, and an invitation to the joint webinar with sister projects SPRINT and EPISODE on 27 October.

The ATENA+ consortium has published the third issue of its newsletter, with updates on the project’s progress towards sodium-ion batteries and a fully European value chain for sustainable, safe and cost-effective energy storage.

This edition opens with an invitation to the joint webinar bringing together ATENA+, SPRINT and EPISODE, three projects funded under the same Horizon Europe topic, on 27 October 2026 (14:00-15:30 CET). It also features two new videos on the barriers to sodium-ion adoption and on the project’s contribution to European battery innovation, and the participation in SBS-7 in Berlin, where visitors could see and handle the cell prototype produced this summer. A video interview with coordinator Alberto Blázquez (CIDETEC Energy Storage) completes the edition.
